About Andy

Hello! I'm Andy Schott from Detroit, MI. I've lived here all my life, except while I was in college at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. I graduated from there in 2001 with a B.S. in Computer Science. Since then, I have been working at Compuware.

In the fall of 2001, I met my wife Melissa on the internet (an IRC chat room, to be precise). We got married in December of 2002.

In my spare time, I like to play video games and work on my own side programming projects. At work I program in either C++ or C#, while at home I'll either use those, Objective-C on my Mac, or maybe play around with some web development.

Finally, I am a life-long LCMS Lutheran, and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
